Tatiana is an official trainer for Allergan USA, Inc. She conducts classes on science and techniques of Botox® and Juvederm administration to medical professionals in the Bay Area. Tatiana is personally and professionally committed to combine her medical skills and artistic hand to produce visible, natural looking results.

Inessa Samodeeva, R.N., B.S.N.
Aesthetic Nurse Specialist

Inessa has been a healthcare professional and skincare expert for ten years. She earned her medical degree and practiced as an OB/GYN physician in Belarus. Since moving to the United States, Inessa has developed her cosmetic expertise. Under the careful supervision and guidance of Patrick Bitter, Sr., M.D., (developer of the photofacial), Inessa has since become an expert in a variety of laser techniques, including Intense Pulsed Light and Laser Hair Removal.

Devoted to expanding her education and staying on the cutting edge in this ever-expanding field, Inessa has become an advanced injector for dermal fillers and Botox®. In addition, she is trained and certified in Sclerotherapy, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and various medical grade skin care product lines, including Obagi. Her vast knowledge, exceptional training, endless energy, and genuine passion for her work have enabled Inessa to help her clients achieve beautiful skin for life. Jennifer Bock Hughes, M.D.
Medical Director

Dr. Bock Hughes joined Ear, Nose and Throat Associates in 1994 as a partner after completing an otolaryngology/head and neck surgery residency at the University of California, San Francisco. She recieved her A.B. in biological sciences from Smith College in 1984 graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She obtained her medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine in 1989, graduating with highest honors.

Dr. Bock Hughes is board-certified as a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and as a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. Professional society memberships include the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, the American Medical Association, and the San Mateo County Medical Society. She maintains active hospital privileges at Mills-Peninsula Hospitals, Sequoia Hospital, and the San Mateo County Hospital.

Since 1998, she has served on the Board of Directors of the Mills Peninsula Medical Group (MPMG), the MPMG Physicians' Compensation Committee, and previously chaired the Medical Utilization Committee. Currently, she is chief of the ENT division at Mills-Peninsula Hospital. Past professional commitments included participation on the Board of Directors of the San Mateo County Medical Society and volunteer service as a clinical faculty member in the otolaryngology department at UCSF.

Dr. Bock Hughes is married with three terrific stepchildren who keep her busy. In her spare time, she enjoys travel with her husband, competitive equestrian sports, running and artistic pursuits.

David E. Ellison, M.D.
Medical Director

David Ellison graduated from San Mateo High School and attended UC Berkeley, where he graduated with Phi Beta Kappa honors. He subsequently attended UCLA Medical School and completed his residency training at UCLA as well. He is Board Certified in the Academy of Otolaryngolgy-Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Ellison joined Ear, Nose and Throat Associates in 1986. While practicing in the community, Dr. Ellison has maintained hospital affiliations at Mills-Peninsula Hospitals, Sequoia Hospitals, and San Mateo Medical Center. He has served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at UC San Francisco for fifteen years. He has also served as Chief of Otolaryngology at Mills-Peninsula and San Mateo Medical Center, and is currently Chief of Surgery at San Mateo Medical Center.

Dr. Ellison is married with four children.

Suzanne Springs

Suzanne has always shared a love of both the sciences and the arts, earning degrees in both Pre-Physical Therapy and Dance. She has been trained and certified by Rodan and Fields and Obagi skin care, and has been a Skin Care Specialist with Philosophy, Inc. for the past twelve years. Formally a professional modern dancer, Suzanne now shares her love of dance with others through her teaching and choreography throughout the Bay Area. She is so delighted to be a part of the LuminaSkin team, where she enjoys the creative freedom of her marketing position and is surrounded by the science of superior skin care and the artistry of Tatiana’s beautiful work.

Julie Hyde
Skincare Products Expert

First and foremost, Julie cares about people. This translates perfectly into her unfailing commitment to our customers’ satisfaction, and combines beautifully with her broad based knowledge of excellent skin care products.

Prior to joining LuminaSkin, Julie served as a product specialist for a prominent plastic surgeon in Palo Alto. She is certified in Obagi, SkinMedica, Jan Marini & Latisse and enjoys educating our clients in non-invasive skin care treatments and products.
